The old model of financial advising and planning doesn’t work for the new American reality – especially for the Millennial generation. The rules have changed, and Embree + Company Wealth Advisory knows this. In West Michigan, Embree + Company helps navigate the new rules of financial planning and goal setting with its unique approach and offerings.
With Embree + Company’s younger target market, we knew a contemporary, modern approach to both brand and website design was needed. Millennials are information seekers, so they read with purpose and are good at scanning. Content would need to be served up in smaller chunks with key points made quickly. We needed to make the experience on the site simple and direct.
In West Michigan, Embree + Company helps navigate the new rules of financial planning for Millennials.
The concept behind the logo design spoke to the interaction and dialog around finance between the company and client. We created two “speech bubbles” sliced in half and positioned to convey this interaction, but also to form an angled dollar sign symbol representing finance. A fresh color palette and a contemporary, sans serif font was selected. The color palette was carried into the website design elements, and content with a Millennial voice was prepared.
Embree + Company’s new brand was well-received in terms of aesthetic and overall design. The company’s process and offerings are clearly presented, helping taking the first step on the financial journey less intimidating.
