Background
Hard Topix provides beautiful, well-designed handmade concrete products for residential and commercial use. A key component of their marketing strategy is educating their customers and taking great pride in the customer experience throughout the process. We began talking with Hard Topix in late 2018, and they already had a strategy for building their business on the web.
The Challenge
The team at Hard Topix was not pleased with the amount of traffic or the overall experience of their website, so they came to us with a detailed design in mind based on their brand and new features they hoped to include. It didn’t take long for us to discover that their website was not indexed by Google due to an error in the original site programming. Quick attention was needed in the short term, and a complete site redesign in the longer term.

Our Approach
We quickly fixed the indexing issue, and suggested running Google Ads to help increase site traffic. Working with the provided design, we constructed the site in WordPress, making it easy for their team to take updates internally. We used WooCommerce to lay the foundations of an eCommerce component and began to populate the storefront.
Results
With proper indexing, we immediately saw organic traffic increases to the site and are now able to track user behaviors. The new site is in its final stages of completion, with the eCommerce component launching soon after.
