With over 27 years of experience, Zormot International is a leader in providing shrink wrap to businesses and individuals globally. The team at Zormot approached us seeking a redesign of their website, with the intentions of enhancing brand representation, improving overall site architecture, and revamping their WooCommerce storefront.
Before we tackled the website improvements, we took a deeper look at the visual elements of the Zormot brand. The hallmark “Z” symbol and the Zormot green were the most recognizable components of the brand, and thus became our starting point. Using the diagonal in the “Z” and adding a dark blue accent color revitalized the aesthetic. The addition of more vibrant photography brought pages to life in telling the Zormot story.
Once we had this launch pad for the visual component, we examined site architecture. Zormot is proud of its commitment to educating the consumer regarding shrink wrap and its disposal, so we pulled together a more robust Resources section with accordion style document display, opportunities to view videos, and a way to request in-person training. We added a Maintenance and Service page to showcase Zormot partnerships, and instituted a new Blog section to offer additional opportunities for user engagement.
We then turned to the shopping experience. With the addition of a Shop Now menu page, users are now able to visually scan for product categories, and easily identify sales or specials. Individual product pages were tidied up, and robust filters and Search functionality allow users to quickly hone in on what they need. The option to order in bulk is also a powerful new addition to the site. With a “My Account” dashboard storing full account details and transactions on the backend, the task flow from product selection to purchase is seamless.
We went the extra step to provide useful tools to the user, and to drive new traffic to the new site by developing two additional marketing components. First, we used Convert Pro to create a pop-up offering newsletter sign-up. Then, we worked in HubSpot to create a series of email communications from industry news to product sales and promotions. The newsletter and email campaigns help keep communication between Zormot and client open, and also direct users back to relevant information on the site.
Since the site launch, online transactions are up 116% and revenue is up a whopping 396% as compared to the previous period. And, with improvements in both form and function, the user experience on the Zormot website is greatly enhanced. Over the next few months, we’re confident that our email marketing, Google Shopping ads, and search engine optimization will improve site traffic – and ultimately, generate leads.
